Lo-tec at 100% East

So after months of planning and organising September the 21st eventually came and we launched Lo-tec Design Collective to the masses in the form of our first collective exhibition at 100% East.

Held in the Truman Brewery on London's Brick Lane during London Design Week, 100% East is a 'multi-disciplinary international showcase for young, up-and-coming designers and companies'
Armed with 200 boxes we arrived on the Monday to set-up the show, having elected to create our own space from scratch creating an installation that would both be visually exciting and complement our varied array of work. Boxes were our vehicle not only due to their aeshetic and versitile qualities but also for the fact that they would be reusable after the event- a flat pack exhibition so to speak.

The show was a huge success and we attracted a lot of interest and we would like to thank all the people that came and that we met during the four days of the exhibition, we gave away over 1000 posters (which, if you have one, take a photo of it in situ and we'll get them posted up on the site) and had a lot positive feedback both on the stand and the concept behind Lo-tec.

100% East was a great experience for us, it provided us the oppotunity show what we can do collectively on an installation and we have already begun to organise the next one.... this time in Bristol and with a brand new selection of work so keep coming and checking the blog and site as further details will be posted as soon as we know them.
