Bastard Video Podcast

Hey everyone,

I found out some good news the other day, my Bastard animation has been included on the new Channel Frederator episode. What is frederator I hear you ask? Well it is a video podcast and it has been around for a while now but it shows some really good cartoons, old and new every month. So if you have a new swanky video ipod or even an old one check it out.

Thats all for now, enjoy.

The Pavement Feature

Here are some scans of the Sleeping (Less) Rough bed that was featured in The Pavement magazine (click to enlarge). I met with the magazine's editor Richard on Monday as The Pavement want to approach companies to get funding and the bed into production. Richard has some good ideas on raising funds so watch this space!

Colin + Oska @ 10 by Ten Festival Exeter

Some good news! Hurrah! My film Colin and Oska is being shown at the 10 byTen festival in Exeter on the 11th of April 2006 at the Exeter Picture House. As you can guess I'm quite chuffed as this is the first festival i've got any of my films into. If you want to go and view some lovely independent work there are more details of the festivals website-

10 x Ten Film Festival

Hope to see you there.

Feedback on Sleeping (Less) Rough

On Monday night I took a Homeless Bed down to The Strand to show it to the homeless who go to the soup kitchen near Charing Cross Police Station. I spoke with 5 homeless and shown them the bed, demonstrated how it works, and two (Dave and Roland) tried it out and loved it. Everyone was interested in it having already read about it in issue 10 of
The Pavement, which is a monthly magazine written for the homeless. The Pavement are helping with the approach to charities and organisations that will hopefully be able to take the bed forward into production. It was a bitterly cold night and just being out there for an hour was more than enough for me I'm sad to say...
I've also entered Sleeping (Less) Rough into DesignBoom's Shelter In a Cart Competition, which closed a week ago
