Prints : Buses

This morning I finished my first set of screen prints of a reworking of one of my sketch a day from the 11th of May. My technique still needs a bit of work but check back soon as i'm going to do more prints in the next few weeks.

Bit of press news, got a copy of April's 'The Reel' in the post today and our Super Tennis video is on it. The Reel features most of the big ads and music videos of the month and it feels good to be rubbing up against the big production and animation studios.

Climbing The Ladder

Thought I'd give myself a bit of a bank holiday kick and set a 3 hour deadline to get this illustration done (from concept to completion). Have to admit it felt a little rushed so is a little sketchy in places... anyhow it's based on a article I read the other day about class and prejudice in the climbing of the social ladder.

Posting this a little late but was a editorial for a article about when ITV jumped to an ad break in the dying moments of the Everton Vs Liverpool FA cup tie, just as Everton scored the only goal of the game!

Pretty sure the fans hated it but Tic Tac's bosses must have loved the captive audience.

I think the illustration is fairly self explanatory dont you!! The title is from a song which i hope you'l hear at some point in the future!

Too much of a good thing will kill you

Here's a editorial piece I've just finished - supposedly 'If you love coffee and drink more than 100 cups in 4 hours you'll probably die.' Hmm... even though the 'probably' is slightly vague, if you ever feel the need to try I would still recommend stopping at the 100 mark.

Luckily I drank no coffee in the making of this illustration, just a bottle of wine so I'll be fine.

Super Tennis vid on Rocksound

Only 12 hours after putting the Super Tennis video online the chaps at rocksound.tv have already spotted it and posted it on their blog.

Don't know about anyone else but now Labour have cut VAT by 2.5% I'm going to go out and spend £800 on a 50 inch TV I don't really need cos at a saving of £20 how can you say no?
But at least I'll sleep well knowing I've helped the economy which will obviously no doubt be reciprocated in a year or so when I'm struggling.

Plus with that extra £20 quid I'll nip out and buy a new jumper, that way I'll never have to use the central heating...
